It's not too far

It's the 20th, and that means we're off to Frankfurt.

After catching the cats and putting them inside, the intrepid travelers mug for a group pic before taking off.





This will be Ray's first red eye flight - and also his first ocean crossing.

Kindly neighbor Frank gives us a lift to the infamous Van Gulder Bus.




Ray is so excited on the ride to O'Hare that he's impossible to distract from the window.




O'Hare is a marvel of shiny surfaces.
